Kerr and Smith have been in business for nearly 50 years, established in 1975 by Jim Smith and Bill Kerr, as a commercial repair workshop. The business started in a farm shed, but with a hard work ethic, quality workmanship and fantastic customer service, it wasn’t long before the business started to grow. Customer service has been pivotal in our success, and as a small independent family business, now on our third generation there is always someone on hand to help our customers make the right choice. Through the years we have we have developed customer relationships whilst selling and servicing Bedford trucks and Vauxhall Cars and Vans, this success has led us to where we are today, and as most of our customers have a commercial vehicle it made sense for us to offer an additional service with trailers!

Kerr and Smith are proud to represent Brain James Trailers in Ayrshire since 2018, with a broad range of trailers and a reputation for high quality.  With our large new trailer stock, used trailers, parts and fully trained service technicians we will continue to offer the best customer service to all customers new and old.
